As a teacher I get daily notes saying that I am the best teacher ever!!!!! (One student gave me that note and then proceeded to tell me that I had to read it with all of the exclamations) Some stand out more than others though. Yesterday I got one from a student that said:
"Dear Ms. Ericson,
I love you.
I believe in you.
I love when we are together.
You are the best teacher ever."
Needless to say it made my day. Why is it that the simplest things sometimes always mean the most? Like today I got a random Facebook post "Dear emily, can I just tell you how much I admire the person you are? Watching you at the special needs activity was literally jaw dropping. You are sooo great with all types of people. Not too mention how jealous I am of all your seductive hokey pokey moves ;-) keep being the great person you are! People notice" I guess that the small things don't go unnoticed. Keep working it. God works in mysterious ways.
