Salamanca

Salamanca is one of the 4 oldest Cathedral Universities in Europe. It was founded in the 11th century. In this cute university town we were able to see old architecture, books from the 11th, 13, 15th and 17th centuries, eat the most delicious food we've had in Spain and join a sorority. Salamanca is higher elevation than Madrid so the temperature was 75 and we froze- everyone had to buy Salamanca University sweatshirts to keep warm. Stinks because I'm not sure I'll need it again for the rest of the summer and I had one in Madrid. But it was a great picture.
